I loved my experience at ABA! They exceeded my expectations as far as an education in cosmetology. I left with confidence in the skills needed to be successful. I also made life-long friendships with the students and staff.
I like American Beauty because they actually care about our education and want to see their students succeed. They provide a good education and don’t want to see students fail. I like being able to work on clients and not just a mannequin.
Our students truly do learn to cut all types of hair on all ages of clients! Christina managed to put the baby to sleep as she gave him a great haircut. Many thanks to Dad who was willing to hold his child during the cut.
We are excited to announce that our student won 3 rd place in the International Business Student of the Year competition! Of the 15 finalists chosen, Kimberlee Earl was awarded 3rd place and came home with over $1400 in prizes.
Our school is strong on business education. We feel our students need to know how to make money in the industry as well as having great technical skills. With Kimberlee’s portfolio, we know she will be very successful. Congratulations Kimberlee!
Kimberlee Earl has been selected as American Beauty Academy’s Business Student of the Year for 2012. Kimberlee’s performance on the student salon floor has been tremendous this year. You can see that she is a serious student with an attendance percentage of 102% and overall GPA of 97%. Some of the other statistics that contributed to her selection are her retail percentage of 58% and her customer service checklist completion of 100%. She will be an asset to any salon with that kind of retail percentage and her customer service is fantastic!
She has been entered in the International Business Student of the Year competition with Nuts and Bolts Business Training company. We have included a copy of the video that she produced as part of her entry. The winner of that competition will be announced at the ISSE show in Long Beach, CA on January 27. We wish her the best of luck!
This year American Beauty students came to school in costume for our Halloween party and to work on the student salon floor. We had loads of fun playing games, eating good food and spreading the Halloween sprit!
